Daylesford Rotary was established in 1953 and is a member of Rotary District 9800. It currently has approximately 20 members and is active within the Daylesford and Hepburn communities. We are a “hands on” club where members are usually prepared to assist with our various projects. We meet from 6.30 - 8.15pm on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of every month for dinner at the Royal Hotel, Daylesford, or at specially arranged social venues, where potential new members can get to know us more easily. We regularly invite guest speakers to inform us regarding topics of interest. Refer the Upcoming Events section of the homepage for details of our social gathering or community activity.

New members who wish to “put back” into our community are always welcome.

Daylesford Rotary operates two major fundraising events, the monthly Daylesford Farmers Market held at the Daylesford Primary School, and the Daylesford Art Show held annually at the Town Hall during Melbourne Cup Week. The Art Show is designed to showcase the work of artists from within the Hepburn Shire and beyond. In addition to the physical Art Show, artworks are showcased to the wider community on a website.

More than half of the money raised is directed with the immediate local community, including the local school community, with a smaller proportion directed towards the wider Australian community, usually towards disaster relief, and internationally.
